These mpg figures are all achieved without even needing to plug in as the Swace combines a powerful hybrid electric motor with a 1.8 litre petrol engine which packs some serious power with an output of 122bhp. And being a hybrid, it also means super low emissions at just 103 g/km.

The Swace is a 2 wheel drive estate, delivering it's power to the front wheels (front wheel drive) and using an automatic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) gearbox which gives a smooth, seamless drive as it moves through the gears.

Advanced Safety As Standard

Another standard with the Swace, and the Suzuki brand, is the level of safety you get.

Pre-Collision system - helps prevent collisions with other vehicles, pedestrians and bicyclists by monitoring the road ahead with a millimetre-wave radar and monocular camera.

Lane Tracing Assist - partially assists the steering operation to keep the vehicle in the centre of the lane and prevent departure from the lane or road. It includes lane departure alert, steering assist, vehicle sway warning and lane centring features.

Dynamic Radar Cruise Control - automatically maintains the distance of the vehicle ahead and stops the Swace when the preceding vehicle comes to a stop. When there is no vehicle traveling ahead, the vehicle travels at a fixed speed.

Road Sign Assist - monitors the road for traffic signs and displays them on the multi-information display when they are detected.

Blind Spot Monitor (SZ5 models) - detects vehicles located in or approaching the rear blind spots on either side of the vehicle and makes lane changing safer. When a vehicle is approaching or detected in a rear blind spot, a warning icon is illuminated in the relevant outer mirror.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert (SZ5 models) - helps the driver avoid collisions when reversing out of parking spaces. When the sensors detect vehicles approaching blind spots in the rear, a buzzer and blinking mirror icons warn the driver.
