The next generation S-Cross has been revealed and as expected, has been given a complete overhaul both in it's design and with what you get under the bonnet. The third generation model will certainly give some of it's competitors a run for their money and is a definite contender when it comes to looking for an economical and stylish SUV with plenty of room for the family.

The brand new S-Cross delivers 127bhp with its 1.4 Boosterjet mild hybrid engine, an updated version of the system which is seen in the latest Swift and Ignis.
The mild hybrid technology allows you to drive just as you would with a standard petrol or diesel car but uses a combination of a conventional engine along with a battery to improve efficiency. The battery is recharged as you drive using energy recovered whilst the car is decelerating and braking. This energy is then used to assist in powering other electrical features (you can read more about how self-charging hybrids work here)
The 2022 S-Cross is unique as it is the only car of it's kind which offers ALLGRIP 4-wheel drive in combination with a hybrid engine for BOTH manual and automatic transmissions meaning you get all the benefits of being able to drive in all conditions whilst also enjoying outstanding fuel efficiency.
The all-new S-Cross is packed with safety features as standard across all 4 of it's models. The enhanced safety and convenience equipment assists you with your driving and in keeping you and your passengers safe at all times and in all conditions.
Dual Sensor Brake Support (AEB) - Detects forward obstacles and reminds the driver to brake or automatically applies the brakes if necessary to help avoid collisions
Traffic Sign Recognition - Helps the driver stay within the speed limit by displaying the most recent speed limit sign on the info display in front of the driver
Lane Departure Warning & Prevention - Detects left / right lane markings and provides a warning if the car strays over a line and automatically steers if necessary to guide you back into lane
Blind Spot Monitor - Displays a warning in the door mirrors if another vehicles is alongside you in the blind spot
Rear Cross Traffic Alert - Monitors approaching vehicles on both sides while you are reversing out of a parking space and gives a warning if another vehicle is detected
An all-new exterior gives the S-Cross more of a rugged SUV look with a bulkier design and larger wheel arches. You'll get 17" alloy wheels as standard (with a varied design depending on which trim level you choose), aluminium roof rails plus an integrated rear spoiler.
The front end features a large, black grille with a more pronounced bonnet and at the rear newly-designed LED taillamps and a slightly different bumper.
The side profile shows off a chromed window line and body-coloured door handles.
There's a choice of 6 exterior paint colours:
Solid White, Metallic Titan Dark Grey, Energetic Red, Sphere Blue, Cosmic Black and Silky Silver.
Whilst the overall exterior dimensions remain the same as the current S-Cross, you'll benefit from a more spacious interior.
The sleek new dash features a 7 inch smartphone link display providing Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity which becomes a larger 9 inch display with sat-nav in the higher-spec Ultra model.
All models come with dual zone auto air conditioning and heated front seats as standard, with leather upholstery featuring in the Ultra spec along with a large panoramic sunroof and a 360 degree camera.
There is a choice of 4 model options across the new S-Cross range, all of which come with a high level of standard eqiupment. The 4 models are made up of 2 variations of manual / auto and 2 wheel / 4 wheel drive.
