We use UPS and DHL as our courier partners for next working day delivery and the Royal Mail for smaller items. UPS and DHL will, if you have given us your mobile number, contact you by text to keep you up to date with your delivery.
If you place your order before 2:00pm Monday to Thursday, we will endeavour to deliver it the next day. Orders placed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be delivered the following Tuesday. Any orders placed on a Bank Holiday will be dispatched on the next working day. Please note that some addresses take longer to deliver to, for example the far north of Scotland, Northern Ireland, and offshore Islands. If you wish to cancel your online order, you must notify us by email within 14 days from receipt of your goods. You then have a further 14 days from the date on which you notify us to return the goods. We reserve the right not to accept goods back once this time period has elapsed.
Please email us at [email protected] or call us on 01535 606311 (9am-6pm Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm Saturday) before returning any items.
All items must be returned unused, in perfect condition, and in their original packaging. Please include your name, address and a copy of the invoice along with the reason for return and whether you require an exchange or a refund. In the case of an exchange, please include re-postage money at the same rate as was charged on the first order. All correspondence and returns should be sent to:

You can also return, or exchange, any goods purchased online or through our Mail Order Department via our motorcycle dealership. Please note, the dealership cannot issue you with a refund at the point of return - this will be processed by the Mail Order Department.
We will process your refund within 14 days of the item being received and checked by us. All refunds are made to the original payment method. Whilst we will refund the basic delivery cost of getting the goods to you in the first place, you are responsible for the cost to return the items (with the exception of faulty goods).
We cannot accept responsibility for undelivered or damaged returned goods. Any claims for undelivered or returned goods arriving damaged must be made through the delivery company that you used to dispatch the goods to Colin Appleyard Ltd.
The above returns policy refers to items bought online and via mail order only - it does not cover items bought in our stores.
Helmet returns are covered by our returns policy however the helmet must be unworn and have all visor stickers and tags still attached. The box must also be in an undamaged condition. If these conditions are not met, the helmet will be returned to you with postage chargeable at your expense.
