Available Positions

Car Sales Executive

at our Suzuki/Subaru (Huddersfield) dealership,
Suzuki/Subaru (Ashton-Under-Lyne) dealership and
our Nissan (Keighley) dealership
Salary: OTE £35k+

  • Are you an enthusiastic and driven sales orientated professional looking for a new challenge in the motor trade and automotive industry?
    We are a true family run business with excellent staff retention. We have recently been expanding and adding to the team and are looking for enthusiastic driven people who are able to interact with customers of all ages, and deal with the sales process on both new and used cars, from prospecting through to handover.

    Essentials:
    • Enthusiastic and driven sales professional (appropriate training/mentoring will be provided)
    • Ability to source and contact potential new customers, and work an existing database
    • Ability to achieve the sales targets for new and used vehicles, maximising profit through achieving best sale prices and up-selling of products and accessories
    • Competent to follow through all aspects of the sales process, including paperwork and legislation, from prospecting customers to handover of a vehicle
    • Excellent communication and customer facing skills and can demonstrate excellent customer satisfaction skills
    • Be able to adapt to the family style ethos and promote our APPY core values with our customers
    • Trustworthy and reliable, and committed to the role
    • IT Literate
    • A full UK driving licence (preferably clean)

Business Manager/ Sales Controller

at our Suzuki/Subaru (Ashton-Under-Lyne) dealership
Salary: OTE £35K (incl basic of £20K)

  • We have an opportunity for a top calibre, confident and professional Business Manager/Sales Controller to join a young and developing team at our Suzuki car dealership in Ashton-Under-Lyne, working closely with General Sales Manager at a busy and successful Suzuki New and Used car showroom. Candidates must possess enthusiasm and the ability to develop positive customer relationships interacting with the sales team and customers to achieve sales and IPU targets.

    Essentials:
    • Previous experience in this role, or as senior sales, within a dealership
    • Have main dealer experience
    • Must have experience in stacking deals, completing sales, ‘second facing’, finance proposals, and upselling of products and accessories together with a proven sales track record
    • A professional attitude to colleagues and customers alike, excellent communication and customer facing skills, and be able to demonstrate excellent customer satisfaction skills
    • Enthusiasm, self-motivation and a strong desire to improve and achieve
    • Be able to adapt to the family style ethos and promote our APPY core values with our customers
    • Trustworthy and reliable in, committed to the role, including coaching and a ‘lead by example’ attitude
    • A full clean UK driving licence

Service & Diagnostic Technician

at our Suzuki (Huddersfield) dealership

  • We are looking for a Service and Diagnostic Technician to join the team at our Suzuki dealership in Huddersfield. We are looking for a person who ideally has a minimum 4 years plus experience or 2 years post-apprenticeship experience with a Franchise Dealer.

    Our chosen candidate:
    • Will be a skilled, competent and reliable vehicle service and diagnostic technician with ideally a minimum 4 years experience (or 2 years post-apprenticeship experience) with a Franchise Dealer
    • Will work to the highest standards
    • Will preferably hold a manufacturer’s qualification
    • Will be capable of successfully investigating and diagnosing and resolving faults, carrying out service and repair work and working to minimum quality and safety standards, keeping detailed and accurate records
    • Would ideally be MOT test qualified
    • Will have a full UK driving licence (preferably clean)
