Appleyard Macadam Racing is one of the most esteemed teams within the British Superbike paddock, having amassed an impressive track record including 90 World Championship Grand Prixes and now 9 British Championship titles after securing the British Supersport championship in 2018.
With over 30 years of experience, the team was set up to support multiple British Champion Robin Appleyard, who dominated the 125cc class in the UK before contending the World Championship for a number of years.
Now a factory supported Yamaha UK and competing under the title Integro Yamaha for 2019, Appleyard Macadam Racing are aiming to retain the championship title for the 3rd year running following the successes of Keith Farmer in 2017 and Jack Kennedy in 2018.
Former World Supersport and British Superbike front runner, Jack Kennedy, first rode with Team Appleyard Macadam back in 2009 and after his title win in 2018 returns with the sole aim of retaining this in 2019.
The team also retain Jack's 2018 team mate Brad Jones, who after finishing in 3rd position in the 2017 National Superstock 600 Championship, moved up to the Supersport class in 2018 with an impressive 5th place finish in his maiden year. Brad is aiming to improve on this again for 2019 hoping for a podium finish.
The team continue to be managed by ex-GP rider and British Champion Robin Appleyard, who devotes his time and expertise to help the riders perform to the best of their ability. Also looking forward to an exciting and successful season are joint team owners and longtime supporters of motorcycle racing, Peggy Appleyard and Doug Macadam.
