The West Yorkshire Trading Standards Motor Trade Partnership is encouraging consumers to 'look for the logo', and choose a member when making a purchase or having a vehicle service and/or repaired. This is because members are audited regularly by Trading Standards to ensure they continue to meet the exacting requirements for membership of the partnership.

This could help to explain why complaints against members have decreased each quarter since the partnership began, whilst complaints relating to motor vehicles in general have reached a staggering 7000 in a 12 month period, a figure which is expected to increase throughout the coming year.
