The West Yorkshire Trading Standards Motor Trade Partnership is encouraging consumers to 'look for the logo', and choose a member when making a purchase or having a vehicle service and/or repaired. This is because members are audited regularly by Trading Standards to ensure they continue to meet the exacting requirements for membership of the partnership.
This could help to explain why complaints against members have decreased each quarter since the partnership began, whilst complaints relating to motor vehicles in general have reached a staggering 7000 in a 12 month period, a figure which is expected to increase throughout the coming year.
Excellent customer service will be a main factor for many when considering a purchase of almost anything. The service provided by Colin Appleyard Ltd has proven to me that you have understood this fact, and put it into practice.
Colin Appleyard Ltd is proud to have qualified as an approved member of the West Yorkshire Trading Standards Motor Trade Partnership. The ethos behind the scheme is to ensure greater customer satisfaction in all aspects of purchasing and/or servicing of motor vehicles; a philosophy already guaranteed by our customer charter.
Members need to demonstrate a commitment to fair, safe and honest trading before they are allowed to join the partnership. Standards have to be met which include fair advertising, ethical finance deals, genuine mileages, pre-sales inspections, fair complaints procedures and care for the environment.
To retain our membership of the partnership, we undergo an annual audit to ensure 12 months complaint-free award. We maintain vigorous standards of customer care and carry out the fair trading practices mentioned above. For the fourth year running, Colin Appleyard Ltd has made the grade!
Occupying pride of place in our Keighley Suzuki Cars showroom is the latest award from the West Yorkshire Trading Standards Motor Trade Partnership. In September 2005, we were delighted to receive its 'No Complaints' award, which marks 12 months without a single bad word for sales or servicing.
