NEW D-MAX JOINS THE ISUZU RANGE
Here at Colin Appleyard Limited, we're really upping our game when it comes to the Isuzu D-Max. It's won the coveted truck of the year award twice, and is enjoying a real spike in sales right across the country.Superbly affordable, there are short cab, extended cab and double cab versions available, making it the perfect workhorse pick-up for anybody working in the trade, as well as being a well-appointed vehicle that won't look out of place parked on your drive or on any High Street.
And now there's a new addition to the range this coming October with the extended cab version available in top-of-the-range Yukon trim. According to Russell Campbell in Car Buyer, the Yukon will mix the "flexibility of a pickup with modern creature comforts".
And he's not wrong. Expect to see all the latest conveniences, all at a price that comes in at less than £20,000 before VAT. You'll be getting air conditioning as standard, cruise control, alloy wheels, surround-sound stereo system, chrome grille and bumpers and LED rear lights. That's an impressive specs list for a truck, and is one of the main reasons the D-Max is already a best-seller.
Drivers will also benefit from the D-Max's 2.5 litre diesel power plant giving an impressive 161bhp. All this adds up to a class-leading ability to tow up to 3.5 tons with a fuel efficiency of 38.7 mpg.
Once again, Isuzu are offering their incredible five year / 125,000 warranty with regular service intervals. It's everything that you're looking for in a modern, rugged pick-up.
Speaking to Auto Express, Isuzu UK chief William Brown said: "Since its launch in June 2012, the D-Max has stood for rugged build quality and outstanding on and off-road performance. The new Yukon extended cab further enhances its appeal. We hope this latest addition to what is already one of the most comprehensive line-ups in the sector will allow us to better meet the varied needs of pick-up users."
