Whilst registrations of new motorcycles may be down across the country one dealership is looking to the future in a very positive way with two new franchises.
Colin Appleyard Motorcycles has been appointed as a Kawasaki dealer to add to the company’s other main franchises in Keighley - Yamaha and Suzuki.
At the same time Sym Scooters are now available at both Appleyard branches in Keighley and Leeds.

Commenting on these latest developments General Manager Kevin Feeny said, “Kawasaki has an exciting range of bikes which will complement our other ranges very well to give our customers unrivalled choice. Sym Scooters is an up and coming name in the UK. They are made in Taiwan and without doubt have Japanese quality, and with prices starting at just £1,099 they offer real value for money, particularly for young beginners looking to get started. Basically they can get a new scooter for the price of a second hand one.”
Managing Director Robin Appleyard added, “Times may be tough but we are upbeat about the future. We have recently refurbished our Keighley showroom and will shortly embark on further improvements. This together with the two new franchises is a statement of positive intent designed to make Colin Appleyard Motorcycles the destination dealer in the North.”

Additionally, in another move to boost sales, the company has added to its range of off road bikes by taking on the Yamaha Motocross dealership.
