- New engine position, higher and forward, it shifts and raises the center of gravity and improves riding uphill and handling stability.
- New engaged gears with zero degrees profile. They make it easier to change gear.
- A new drain plug on the air box bottom has been fitted. It allows you to drain the water and ensures an easier maintenance especially in extreme conditions. Also the air filter box has a new design that improves water resistance.
- New exhaust: besides being lighter (-200 grams) it offers a more linear power delivery.
- Lower handlebar position: moving forward the riding position, improves traction and allows a more efficient riding uphill. Perfect for steps where sudden accelerations are required.
- New rear wheel rim (-500 grams). In addition to saving weight it ensures complete pressure reliability as no sealing band is required.
- New shock absorber spring. The stronger spring stiffness improves the static sag which makes the shock more effective when absorbing obstacles. Also, the new cone shaped bump rubber allows the shock to work more progressively under extreme conditions.
- New brake and clutch levers: improved working and lighter feel.
- Brand new engine head brackets: they stiffen the bikes architecture and dampen vibration more effectively.
- New larger screws (M6) for rear fender fastening. Larger than the 2010 Evo which makes the bike easier to maintain.
- New rear master cylinder with integrated oil tank: more practical and efficient which reduces weight and offers a more compact design.
- Brand new 2011 colour: an aggressive dark grey combined with a high impact decals kit which gives the bike a very aggressive modern look.
