Winter tyre and safety packs

Winter tyre promotion

We've got some great deals on winter tyres in Keighley, Huddersfield, Bradford and Manchester this year, starting at just £159.99 for 2 tyres and including a vehicle safety check. This price includes fitting and also re-fitting your summer tyres again once spring comes around. We believe that these prices represent excellent value for money and are extremely competitive. You can get better than a Kwik Fit fitter!

We also have deals that include replacement wheels if you want to keep your alloy wheels out of harms way during the bad weather, and we are able to offer storage of your wheels for you if you don't have room at home.

If you'd like to find out more about these great offers, please act quickly and contact your local service team. At this time of year demand for these tyres obviously soars. Last year saw us running out of the tyres!

Why buy winter tyres?

Why should you be considering buying another set of tyres for your car, just for winter? Well, like many drivers you may well have found yourself struggling to get around in the heavy snow and icy conditions of the last couple of winters, but winter tyres aren't just designed to deal with getting you around in the snow.

Summer tyres just aren't designed to cope with our cold, wet, greasy roads, and start to lose performance when temperatures drop to around 7ºC and below, struggling for grip, affecting control and increasing braking distances. Winter tyres are manufactured from a softer rubber and feature special tread patterns and sipes to better cope with cold temperatures, snow, ice and slush. If you're still unsure about why you should be fitting winter tyres, read Autoblog's findings. Our recommendation would be to fit winter tyres to all four wheels on your vehicle.

The following video gives you some indication of the benefits that winter tyres have to offer over all-season and summer tyres.
